Fourthwall merch
Sell your Fourthwall products as submission add-ons. Fans pay on Nero and claim the item for free.
If you sell merch on Fourthwall, you can offer your products as add-ons on paid submissions. Fans pay you on Nero like any other add-on, and Nero emails them a link to claim the item for free on Fourthwall, where they pick their size and shipping address. You never touch fulfillment.
How it works
- A fan adds one of your products to their submission and pays on Nero. Nero keeps 10% of a merch add-on instead of its usual 20%, so 90% of what they pay is yours.
- Right after payment, Nero emails the fan a single-use claim link.
- The fan opens the link on Fourthwall, picks their size or variant, and enters their shipping address. They pay nothing there.
- Fourthwall makes and ships the item, and charges the card on your Fourthwall account for the product cost and shipping.
What you earn
Nero keeps 10% of merch add-ons, not the 20% it keeps on everything else, because the product cost comes out of your side. Your profit is the 90% you receive minus what Fourthwall bills you. Say a shirt costs you $15 on Fourthwall and you sell it as a $30 add-on: the fan pays $30 on Nero, $27 of it reaches you, and Fourthwall bills you about $15 when they claim it, so you clear about $12. Set your add-on price comfortably above the product cost so shipping is covered too.
Set it up

- In Fourthwall settings, open For developers and copy the storefront token (it starts with ptkn_). Paste it in Nero under Settings, Developer, Fourthwall merch.
- On that same Fourthwall page, under Open API, click Create API user and paste the username and password into Nero. This is what lets Nero email fans their claim links, so it is required.
- Add a card in Fourthwall billing if you have not. Claim links do not work without one.
- When you set up a session, open add-ons and tap merch add-on to pick a product from your shop. You can rename it and set your own price.
Good to know
- Each claim link works exactly once and only for the product the fan bought.
- Only public, in-stock products from your shop show up in the picker.
- Purchased merch shows on the submission card in your queue like any other add-on.
- If a fan says the email never arrived, have them check spam. The link is also re-sent if the payment processor retries, and support can recover it.
- Add-on prices have a $5 minimum, and a session can have up to 15 add-ons of any kind.
